Bio

  • Hallie grew up just outside of Silverhill, graduating from Robertsdale High School in 1991
  • She graduated from the University of South Alabama in 1995 with a degree in Psychology and English.
  • Hallie is the mother of two beautiful girls ages 5 and 17.
  • She went to Law School at University of Alabama, graduating from there in 1998 and started out in private practice in Mobile and Baldwin Counties.
  • In 2000, Hallie opened her own law firm and successfully ran that business until 2006 when she was recruited to work for the Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office.
  • After serving as a docket attorney for several months, Hallie was promoted to supervisor, major felony prosecutor and law enforcement liason toward the end of 2006.
  • By the beginning of 2007, she was also appointed as Child Sex Abuse Prosecutor.
  • In November, 2007, Hallie was next promoted to Chief Assistant District Attorney and remained in that position until October, 2008, when she accepted a position with the Attorney General’s Office.
  • As an Assistant Attorney General, Hallie has been prosecuting cases and delivering presentations across the State.
  • Within the AG’s Office, Hallie has worked in the Family Protection Unit, which deals with elderly and child abuse, the Public Corruption Division, dealing with white collar crime and ethics violations by public officials, and currently working in the Capital Litigation Division which deals with Death Penalty appeals.
  • Hallie was honored to have been chosen as the Assistant District Attorney of the Year for the State of Alabama in 2007. This was the first time such honor was awarded to a Baldwin County Assistant District Attorney.
